The best investment you can make is not in a business or a company…

It’s in yourself.

We live in a world today that illuminates and puts a spot light on “successful” people because we have access to information at our fingertips 24/7. News travels faster now than it ever has in history. We see images, messages, videos, promos, advertisements, you name it, all in record speed. And everyone wants to be successful. We hear about people making monstrous breakthroughs in every area of life, from health, wealth, prestige, athletics, education, you name it, seemingly overnight.

We also live in a world that has a microwave mentality… we want to easily “Zap” our success with the push of a button and make things happen quickly.

The truth is, success is not created that way.

Everyone wants that stock tip, how to turn pennies in to millions with the next crypto currency investment, or the next “Uber” company. They want the magic diet pill that gives them the body of their dreams, the next lottery ticket, easy fix and instant success, but that isn’t the way it is created.

“The best investment you can make is not in a product, a company or a business, it’s in YOU.” StrategicLifeDesign.com

I don’t know how to make life easier for you, however, I know we can make you better, which by default makes life easier. The better YOU get, the “luckier” you get. Jim Rohn said “Work harder on yourself than you do on your job.” Abraham Lincoln said “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four hours sharpening the axe.”

That doesn’t sound like a shortcut to me. However, it’s the shortest route you will find.

In Malcolm Gladwell‘s book The Outliers, he claims that many people he studied that got to the top of their field required “10,000 hours of deliberate practice before becoming world class.” In Napoleon Hill‘s book “Think and Grow Rich” he states “When [success] comes it comes so quickly, in such great abundance, that one wonders where it has been hiding during all those lean years.”

One thing we do know is that success always comes from taking action, so set your goal, create a plan and get busy today. Life doesn’t change until you make some changes.
